Mid Sweden University’s third annual “Designdagen” or Day of Design is 28th of May 2026.
The lectures will be captioned (speech-to-text interpreted). A hearing loop is available. There is also the possibility to follow the lectures via Zoom, please indicate this in your registration
A warm welcome to an entire day focused on sustainable development through design. Join us for lectures, the vernissage of graduation works and a networking event in the evening. This year’s lectures will be in English as we welcome international speakers and guests.
Time: 10:00–20:00
The day is comprised of four parts:
10:00-14:00 Seminars about current research and education within design at Mid Sweden University’s Sundsvall Campus.
14.15–17.00 Digital workshops together with Association of Accessibility Professionals (IAAP).
15:00-17:00 Vernissage of the graduating class of graphic design and industrial design’s examination projects at Sundsvall’s Museum.
18:00-20:00 “Designmingel” – Design networking event with buffet, host is The Swedish Design Association Västernorrland (Svensk Form Västernorrland). Pre-registration is required (registration is binding), 195 SEK per person (to be paid on site). Clarion Hotel Sundsvall, Skepparegatan 9.
