A warm welcome to the course Business Administration Ma, Marketing in Networks and as a student at Mid Sweden University.
The course begins with an introduction lecture explaining the course structure. If you cannot attend, the information is also available on the Course homepage on Canvas. Make sure to carefully read all instructions and ask a teacher if any instruction is unclear.

The couse literature consists of a selection of scientific articles. The selected articles are presented in the course guide which will be available on Canvas. The lectures are based on some of these scientific articles, where the teachers give examples and various perspectives on the articles' content. You will in addition yourself be required to search for suitable articles for your written assignments to be presented in two seminars. You should be confortable using the library databases, otherwise ask for help from the library staff. The lectures are voluntary but the seminars are mandatory. There is also a mandatory written exam at the end of the course.
Schedule
Four weeks before the beginning of the course you will get access to your schedule at, {Schema}. Can't find the schedule? Then your teacher may have published it in the learning platform Moodle.The time and place/link for your teaching can be found in your schedule.
Please note that the timetable may be updated until the beginning of the course and even after that if something unforeseen happens.

Before you can begin your studies, there are three things you need to do
1. Create a student account
As a new student, you need to create a student account to get access to the university´s e-services, such as Ladok, where you can register for courses and examinations, see your study results, and access the University Library´s e-services, as well as the learning platform Moodle.
Please note that the earliest date to create your student account is 20 days before the beginning of the course (spring term) or 30 days before the begging of the course (autumn term).
If you have a Swedish personal identification number (format: yyyymmdd e.g., 198101201111) you can verify your identity using EduID. International students without a Swedish identity number must verify their identity using Antagning.se.

If you have studied at Mid Sweden University before, you will keep the same student login and user id.

2. Read through the current syllabus
In the course syllabus, there is information about the course literature and other important things about the course for both teachers and students.
3. Register for your course
You must register for all of the courses you want to take during the semester. Register on Course: miun.se/registration
You can register no earlier than three workdays before the beginning of the course. It is important that you register for each course.
