Successful premiere of the sustainability series – now you are invited to a lunch picnic
How can the campus area's lawns be developed into a greener and more sustainable place? Now students and staff are invited to a lunch picnic and idea workshop.
The first webinar in the sustainability series was a real success, and the commitment continues to sprout. After Jennie Sandström's lecture on biodiversity in the forest and garden, the discussions gained momentum and now we are invited to a lunch picnic on campus Sundsvall – a first step towards strengthening biodiversity in the area.
The picnic will be held on Friday 16 May from 11:30 to 13:00 on the lawn between the R and S buildings. Anyone with an interest in sustainability, gardening, the environment and campus development is warmly welcome to participate. Feel free to bring your own lunch or coffee – the coordination group for sustainability offers coffee and tea.
The purpose of the meeting is to continue the conversation from the webinar and together explore how the area can be developed to benefit biodiversity. Maybe someone dreams of a greenhouse? Beekeeping on roofs? Cooperation with the municipality?
