Discover Mid Sweden University in Sundsvall – welcome to Open House!

Programme

• Visit our exciting labs at the STC and FSCN research centres and try our research!
• In the laser lab, you will learn about laser technology and take home a personal pen with your name engraved.
• Try racing with a robot, or try out our windmills and remote-controlled cars. 
• Together with the Demicom research centre, children can try out an election compass in a playful way and you can write messages on our democracy graffiti wall.
• At the Makerspace and Technichus stations, you can test the light bars, check out the 3D printer and try out new technologies and exciting innovations. 
• Discover the mysteries of energy: can lights shine without a battery? 
• Learn more about our research on the food of the future, PFAS and environmental toxins. 
• Try your hand at the profession of biomedical analyst and meet students who are studying to become a nurse. Take a blood sample and analyze your result. 
• Visit the University Library and try binding your own booklets, building puzzles and looking at the art in our premises. 
• Learn more about the history of Åkroken and Grönborg.
• Meet students who talk about their everyday life at the university.
• Take a quiz walk between Stora Torget and Campus Sundsvall and answer questions in collaboration with Stenstansdagarna.
• Compete and win great prizes!
• We offer coffee, coffee and ice cream!
