Sociology MA, Evaluation Methods, 7.5 Credits
The course introduces evaluation and inspection as practices in different contexts and at multiple levels. Students learn practical methods and approaches, explore the applicability of various evaluation techniques, and work with different types of data. The course also addresses reform evaluations, including intended and unintended, short- and long-term, as well as direct and indirect outcomes.
The structure of the teaching
The campus course includes several meetings where you are expected to participate on site, and some components require mandatory attendance.
The distance course requires that you have access to a computer with an internet connection. All communication takes place via the course’s online platform and meeting tools such as Zoom.
Entry requirements
A bachelor's degree of at least 180 credits in social or behavioural sciences, of which a minimum of 60 credits in sociology. English level 2/English 6 from Swedish Upper Secondary School (Gymnasium) or the equivalent.
