Sustainable Large Establishments 2.0 (HSE 2.0) – Effective Business Development in the Green Transition

The overarching aim of the project is to identify factors and map the impacts that a major establishment may have on the business sector in semi-rural regions.

The project will be based on the following research questions

What does the growth of existing companies look like in terms of, for example, the number of employees, turnover, etc.?

What conditions are central to a successful establishment in terms of:

Recruitment of skilled personnel for companies,
Access to land, transportation, and infrastructure for the expansion of companies in the region,
Planning and permit processes.

What challenges and opportunities have companies identified in terms of:

Recruitment of skilled personnel for companies,
Access to land, transportation, and infrastructure for the expansion of companies in the region,

How should municipalities approach planning for new sustainable industrial establishments with respect to effective business development?
