Better late than never: indicators of the forest landscape's green infrastructure

Functioning green infrastructure (GI) for biodiversity conservation in Sweden is challenged by the loss of remaining forests with high conservation values.

We will develop spatial indicators as a "traffic light system" fed by state-of-the-art ground cover data and can be used by practitioners to assess forestry GI's functionality for strategic, tactical and operational planning.
